Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SPD Tech to oversee our new SPD room at the new MCI at West.
The qualified candidate will complete the required room set up and SPM system and QA process. They will work at both MHW SPD and at MCI.
Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.
Competencies:
ACCOUNTABILITY, CUSTOMER SERVICE, EQUIPMENT STERILIZATION, HAND HYGIENE, ORGANIZATION SKILLS, RESPONDING TO CHANGE, STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR
Education and Certification Requirements:
