Summary:
Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience required. Other Information: Can be certified as CPSDT or IAHCSMM.
