Sterile Processing Clerk, Part Time - Sand Lake Surgicenter. - Sca Health.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Clerk (Instrument Processing Technician) to maintain and prepare surgical instruments and equipment. This role involves:

• Functioning under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Registered Nurse.
• Understanding sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Managing inventory and purchasing supplies as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of sterilization technologies, and prior experience in instrument processing or as a surgical technologist preferred. BCLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.
