Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Steam Turbine Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of steam turbines and related equipment.
2. Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
3. Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our steam turbines.
4. Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and operational staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety and operational protocols and regulations.
7. Keeping abreast of latest advancements in steam turbine technology and recommending upgrades or replacements as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Steam Turbine Engineer, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in steam turbine operation, repair, and maintenance.
3. Proficiency in steam generation and power systems.
4. A valid TWIC card.
5. Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
