We are currently seeking a Statutory Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role involves working closely with our clients to provide expert advice on statutory accounting practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating both routine and non-routine accounting tasks. It is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive consulting services to clients regarding statutory accounting procedures and practices.
2. Ensuring clients' accounting operations are in compliance with statutory regulations and standards.
3. Handling routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices, checks, and managing general ledger entries.
4. Performing non-routine accounting tasks including complex financial analyses and preparing financial reports.
5. Analyzing general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and rectify any errors.
6. Preparing and presenting detailed reports on financial findings and recommendations to clients.
7. Assisting clients with the preparation of financial statements and invoices.
8. Keeping up to date with changes in statutory accounting regulations and informing clients of any changes that may affect their business.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in statutory accounting, compliance administration, routine and non-routine accounting.
2. Proven experience in analyzing general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, and processing invoices and checks.
3. A strong understanding of statutory accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical solutions to complex accounting issues.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
