About the Job
As a key member of our team, the State Regulatory Specialist will play a vital role in building relationships with state regulators to assist in the state licensing process for our broker clients. Partnering daily with UWM’s Executive Director of Government Affairs and Investor Relations. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with state regulations, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency and integrity of our clients' businesses.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with state regulators through light travel across the country, enhancing collaboration and facilitating smoother licensing processes.
- Client Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to broker clients, expertly navigating them through the multifaceted state licensing process while providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Actively monitor and analyze state regulatory changes that impact licensing requirements, ensuring that clients remain informed and compliant with evolving laws.
- Documentation Preparation: Diligently prepare and submit all necessary documentation for licensing applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness to facilitate timely processing.
- Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for license renewals, addressing compliance issues proactively to mitigate risks and maintain operational continuity for our clients.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in mortgage licensing or regulatory compliance, showcasing your ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
