Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills - Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus. **Responsibilities** : + Conduct research and writing related transferable tax credits on the state and federal level + Participate in negotiations and transactions for transferable tax credits + Calculate federal disaster zone, employer paid leave and related state and federal hiring based tax credits + Participate in negotiations for state and local incentives + Conduct research and writing for location based credits and incentives + Complete requisite documentation for credits and incentives compliance purposes + Participate in business development activities as needed + Develop internal relationships within the firm and help grow external branding **Qualifications** : + Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field preferred + Master's degree in Taxation and/or JD with LLM in Tax preferred + Minimum of 2 years of related tax experience required; public accounting experience preferred + CPA, bar membership or equivalent credential preferred. If not certified, must meet educational requirements to obtain license upon hire in state of employment + Prior experience with state or federal credits and incentives programs preferred + Previous experience performing tax research and providing technical advice on state and local tax issues preferred + Experience with multi-state income, sales/use, gross receipts, property, employment or other miscellaneous state and local taxes preferred + Critical thinking and problem solving skills + Excellent internal and external client service skills + Strong tax research skills + Strong written and verbal communication + Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently + Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects + Proficient with Microsoft Office \(Word, Excel, Access, Outlook\) Here, you'll be challenged and rewarded for leadership, technical excellence, and inspired perspectives.
