Job Summary:
As a Starts Coordinator at L&S, you will be responsible for generating new home starts, house changes and upgrades by reviewing floor plans, purchase orders and other methods using our in-house system. This position will also be responsible for various paperwork, administrative and billing related duties. Key relationships will be with field production, builders, and multiple L&S departments.
General Responsibilities:
- Review all builder documentation including start memos, home options, floor plans and purchase orders to create a new house in our system.
- Enter changes to existing houses in company database when homeowner options are modified.
- Assist with billing records, subcontractor pay and confirmation of materials for multiple departments.
- Prepare paperwork for applicable trades which includes tracking labor and materials.
Qualifications:
- Extremely competent in pulling information from multiple sources to create accurate, detailed reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively using both verbal and written communications.
- Solid basic math skills and proven computer proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Windows Explorer.
- Exceptional follow-up skills and capability of efficiently prioritizing and organizing workload.
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures.
- Current experience with a large new home builder in a purchasing related position preferred.
