The Start Technician Manager (STM) is a seasonal management role responsible for overseeing seasonal Start Technicians and managing initial services for new customers. The STM collaborates with Sales Partners to understand new customer acquisitions, and recruits, trains, and manages Start Technicians to support business growth. Working alongside the Start Technicians in the field, the STM ensures that initial services create long-term customer relationships and foster brand loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and ensure proper licensing for Pest Control Start Technicians, and lead weekly team meetings to provide ongoing support.
- Issue pest control products and chemicals to technicians as needed and perform daily technician and customer audits to ensure quality service.
- Assist technicians in the field regularly, review accounts to ensure SCRs are being uploaded, and manage and audit technician routes throughout the day.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Start Technicians and Sales Managers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license. Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards.
- Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

- Compensation range depending on experience: $50,000 - $52,000 annually
