Job Summary
We are currently seeking an AI Business Development Manager. The position objective is to lead customers in successful Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations, resulting in business for Mainline Information Systems. This will be done through AI project identification, account presentations, solution definition, POC planning, and AI project monitoring through to production. Collaboration with the Mainline sales and technical account teams will be a key to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understanding of both AI technology and the AI marketplace: ML/DL Frameworks, programming techniques, use cases, value to customers, and industry trends
- Customer facing technical Business Development Manager: Assist customers in developing AI solution objective and implementation plan that will meet their AI project goals
- Knowledge of Business Analytics in general and how AI participates
- Understanding of AI requirements in data, computation, framework selection, architecting solution
- Leadership, self-motivated, presentation and customer facing conversational skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the technical and business community.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional certifications are an ongoing requirement. In all cases comparable certifications on competitor's products are considered to be equivalent to the IBM and HP certifications
Desired Certifications/Skills
- Power Systems knowledge with understanding of GPUs
- IBM AI solutions (Power A, Power AI Enterprise, Power AI Vision, Watson Studio Local, H2O)
- Participated in 3-5 AI Implementations
- Industry knowledge in key AI Markets
Education and/or Experience
- BA or BS degree or equivalent is required.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years experience in client facing environments with effective presentation skills.
- Skills should include understanding of Virtualization environments that encompasses Cloud Computing strategies to assist clients with faster time to market strategies for their product and services to their customers.
- Candidates should possess strong working knowledge of IBM/HP products, including but not limited to x86, Power Systems, Storage, and Networking.

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
