Staffing Coordinator

Salary: $45,000-$55,000 (this is negotiable).

Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator:
- Assist with preparing nursing department work schedules for each calendar month.
- Assist with finding call-in replacements to meet corporate, state, and federal staffing guidelines.
- Answer phone, assist visitors and residents, and relay communications.
- Carry out additional administrative support as needed, including but not limited to: Recruiting and Retaining Staff, maintaining budget and ppd.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements of the Staffing Coordinator:
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a long-term care setting.
- Current certification as Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred.
- CPR certification.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet, and Intranet navigation.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
