Position Summary:

This position will work independently and collaboratively with team members to design, implement, and evaluate engineering solutions. Lead the development of an imaging subsystem, algorithms, mechanisms to address challenges/demands in the various vascular ablation scenarios. He or she will contribute to advancing ReCor's core technologies such as transducer technologies, imaging systems, and therapy strategies. He or she will work with other cross-functional team members to achieve business targets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deep understanding of ultrasound/acoustic physics and their applications.
• Proficient in signal/image processing algorithms and implementation.
• Capable of characterizing and simulating acoustic transducers, electrical/mechanical systems.
• Able to apply systematic methodology to evaluate and resolve complex engineering problems.
• Support the development of intellectual properties.
• Collaborate with other functional groups to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimal of 8 years’ experience in related field or A Ph.D degree in Physics, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering or related engineering fields, or with equivalent work experience in medical devices.
• Strong Expertise in at least one area on analytical/physics/electrical/acoustic systems/acoustic and FEM models/statistics/DSP/manufacturing processing/transducer designs and characterization. Algorithms and programming skills are required.
• Highly motivated to tackle technical challenges and to identify new technical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross functional team.

Salary Range: $176,150 - $207,000 (Annual Base Salary)

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
