About the team:
Join the AI Search team at ServiceNow, where we are at the forefront of innovation in Enterprise Search solutions. As a member of AI Search Instance Automation team, you work with a talented group of developers building out solutions that make our infrastructure highly available, scalable and fully automated.
As a Staff Software QA Engineer focused on this team, you will have the opportunity to work on ServiceNow Platform and Tools, build solutions using workflows, orchestration in Private and Public Multi-Cloud infrastructure.

What you get to do in this role:
• Work on Infrastructure Automation / Cloud technologies.
• Develop and execute test strategies to efficiently validate instance automation processes and workflows to ensure their functionality and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues and enhance workflow reliability.
• Work with developers in US and India to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them.
• Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
• 8+ years professional experience in quality assurance or application development and experience working with/leading global teams.
• Ability to diagnose issues, come up with a strategy for relief, permanent fix and RCA and implement it.
• Knowledge of Cloud Dev. Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience in Java, JavaScript, Ansible, Ruby, Shell programming.
• Experience with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git
• Prior experience with Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS ; Instance Automation tools ; Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with different testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect.
• Advanced working knowledge and ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks.
• Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC concepts
