As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo

Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.What you'll do:During any given day, you will:• Assist in solving problems by writing and developing code, conducting unit testing, communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders, troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes, and ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs.• Assist in providing guidance to engineers for assigned Engineering projects by providing detailed technical feedback through various channels including pair programming and code reviews.• Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues• Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause) and performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues.• Participate in the discovery phase of medium to large-sized projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business, user experience teams, and engineering teams.Now, imagine doing all the above for the world’s largest retailer
