Staff/ Senior Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Position: Staff/Senior Accountant

Location: Livermore (Fully onsite in a great office)

Salary: $90,000-$100,000

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets.
• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to project managers.
• Support cash flow forecasting to ensure adequate funding for operations and projects.
• Train and mentor junior accountants and project staff on accounting policies and procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in accounting preferably in medical, construction, or manufacturing field
