Our services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, second opinion diagnostic consultations, intensive outpatient treatment, medication management, and cutting-edge interventional treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Esketamine REMS, and, for select highly treatment-refractory cases, intravenous ketamine. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Provide interventional treatments such as TMS, Esketamine, and IV ketamine as indicated.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.
- Stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practices in psychiatry and behavioral health treatment.
Administrative Duties:
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences.
- Contribute to quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Engage in educational efforts within the practice, including training and development for clinical staff.
- Participate in weekend calls every three months or provide emergency coverage as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Licensure in the State of New York.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strongly Preferred:
- Additional fellowship training and experience in Addiction Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison (C&L) Psychiatry.
- Experience with interventional psychiatric treatments such as TMS, Esketamine, and IV ketamine.
