Job Description
Skyworks is focused on bringing new and innovative clock and oscillator products to the marketplace. These best in class products are more than meets the eye with unparalleled frequency flexibility, exceptional jitter performance, and the ability to be fully customized for each customer in the factory. These products also include innovative DFT/BIST features and novel test methodologies to help guarantee both quality and reliability. The Timing Product and Test team at Skyworks is a dynamic and growing group that provides essential support for this exciting and high growth business. This work includes the continued innovation and development of advanced test solutions that integrates software and hardware design, qualification, and characterization of devices.
Responsibilities
- Lead product engineering activities, new silicon bring-up, product sampling and yield/cost improvement
- Work with IC design and systems teams to develop and publish test and characterization plans
- Implement process-oriented and data-driven production methods to guarantee product quality
- Manage ATE device characterization and analysis reporting
- Analyze production data to drive robust yields in production
- Lead test time and cost reductions to meet manufacturing targets
- Provide necessary product engineering support to all customer returns working laterally with Quality engineering in a timely manner
- Lead NPI, characterization and qualification activities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science)
- 8+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry, or 6+ years’ experience with Masters degree
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies related to IC development and productization
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices
- Familiarity with probability and statistics or data analytics
- General analog and digital circuit analysis skills (including noise effects)
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $110,600 - $210,600 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
