Staff Pharmacist - Full Time - Jersey Community HealthCare

• Ensures that prescribed medications, drugs and other compounder pharmaceuticals are provided in a safe and rational manner according to professional standards and practices. 
• Assumes responsibility for consulting patients about drug therapy when appropriate, and to advise health care providers about cost effective drug therapy. 
• Par­ticipates in the hospital's and department's quality improvement program. 
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Illinois licensure.  

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills required.  
• Must possess demonstrated leadership skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is of light demand.  
• Routine lifting requirements of less than 25 pounds.  
• Sitting, bending and reaching required. Stands and walks a minimum of 50% of the work day. Works inside. May be exposed to labeled bio-hazard substances.
