Staff Nurse (LPN) - Tandym

A health services network in New York is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Yonkers.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

The Staff Nurse (LPN) will:

• Interview and maintain patient's medical record to include: nursing observation; health history to include past and present use of medication; vital signs; vision/hearing tests; medications and treatments given
• Perform in-house labs, collect specimens for out-side labs perform quality control in accordance with organizational protocols
• Complete and update all assigned tasks & logs
• Initiates follow-up as necessary (as directed by provider) i.e. encounter, labs, close non-billables, etc.
• Perform health teaching as indicated by Physician, diagnosis and/or inquires by patient
• Collect data on patients under supervision of the Registered Nurse or provider
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Technical Degree in Nursing
• NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• BLS/CPR certification
• Infection Control certification
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
