*Overview*
The RN or LPN (Charge Nurse) is responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents; ensure medications are administered following the rights of medication administration, responsible for supporting management of patient procedures and programs; for participating with the Director of Nursing and ADON in establishing specific goals; for determining work procedures and expediting work flow; for ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures; communicating and supervising appropriate personnel; providing daily reports and other periodic reports; and performing all the duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant when required. Direct supervision of a team of 4-6 CNAs is required.
*Job Requirements:*
* Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience, *preferred but not required*
* Active Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) License with Iowa Practice Privileges, required
* Active BLS/CPR Certificate, required
*Qualifications*
* RN or LPN license
* CPR certification
* BLS certification
* Experience in catheterization and tube feeding
* Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems; Midlands utilizes Point Click Care
* Strong patient care and assessment skills
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
* Experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities
* IV infusion and triage experience
* Ability to work with diverse patient populations

Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour
