About the Job
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a float pool nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple critical care units, including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units, and more. This role offers flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, and exposure to a broad range of challenges in specialized patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the care of patients in various critical care units, including post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU
Play a critical role in maternal emergency response
Work autonomously in high-pressure situations
Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion, talent, and an unwavering commitment to patient care
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Minimum of two years' experience as a Critical Care RN
Current New York State RN licensure
BCLS and ACLS certification
Proven experience working autonomously in high-pressure situations
Experience caring for post-Cesarean Section patients and obstetrical emergencies (preferred)

Pay Range: $126,000 - $135,000 per year
