If you are interested in working at a dynamic company with a winning culture which has been **awarded as one of Washington's Best Places to work for 15 years consecutively** , please read on! **JOB SUMMARY** The overriding business objective for the Staff Integration Engineer will be to support the design, development, and test of innovative aircraft Power Systems. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Develop and revise complex system integration and development test procedures, perform complex tests and document results from lab and aircraft testing + Prepare and review custom test equipment drawings and designs + Coordinate and track formal test equipment drawing release process + Support less experienced engineers on custom test equipment design + Analyze and solve complex technical problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors, partially through use of test data and specification requirements + Organize and analyze data and document results using a variety of data plotting and analysis tools. Review results to ensure their accuracy and appropriateness + Perform system integration and development testing and troubleshooting using custom test equipment and standard lab test equipment. Define standard and custom test equipment to support problem discovery and isolation. + Define standard and custom test equipment to support integration projects and development projects + Prepare and present complex technical information of diverse scope for internal and external engineers, program personnel, and other internal and external customers + Guide technicians and engineers in performing system integration and unit level development test and custom test equipment builds + Support selection and provide guidance and review of external suppliers of test equipment + Develop software programs and use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems + Support system, environmental and electromagnetic interference testing of aircraft electrical power generation, conversion, and distribution equipment in the APC department + Prepare and review system and unit level test procedures and reports for aircraft electrical power generation, conversion, and distribution equipment + Support DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-461 testing on aerospace electrical power equipment + Develop and review development and qualification test procedures for environmental and EMI **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or related technical discipline required + Demonstrates proficiency ~ typically eight (8) or more years of direct experience in the duties & responsibilities of the position. **EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS** + As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). **Must be a US Person under ITAR** to be eligible. + An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and **drug test which includes** **screening for the use of cannabis** **.** **Base salary range is $122,003 - $183,004 per year.** Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered. **Astronics AES offers a competitive benefits package including:** **Stay Healthy** - Health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, FSA, HSA, as well as voluntary life/AD&D, voluntary critical illness, accident prevention and hospital indemnity **Save for the Future** - 401K & Employee Stock Purchase Plan **Find Balance** - Employee Assistance Program, work/life balance culture **Time for You** - Generous Paid Time Off, starting at 120 hours annually, plus 12 Paid Holidays per year Position Requirements _As above_ Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time About the Organization Astronics Corporation (Nasdaq: ATRO) serves the world's aerospace, defense, and other mission critical industries with proven, innovative technology solutions.
