Role: Staff Engineer-Civil Engineer

Role Description: The Staff Engineer-Civil Engineer must have at least 5+ years of experience.
Major Responsibilities:
- Perform take-offs and material quotes for contractors.
- Track and follow up on projects.
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance to engineers and contractors
- Be actively involved in “Technical committees” to stay engaged with the engineering community.
- Working with the sales team to proactively identify value engineering opportunities where helical piles/anchors are a viable alternative. This includes pro-actively prospecting jobs.
- Sharing projects with clients to garner interest in bidding on the project and preparing bid documents for said projects.
- Identifying prospect engineers/contractors and educating them.
- Prepare material submittal packages for customers.
- Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Primary Day to Day:
- Put together take offs/quotes.
- Answer technical/engineering questions.
- Continuous learning to become internal/external subject matter expert
- Identify new project opportunities
- Identify and follow up with potential customers visiting the website
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural engineering; or its demonstrated equivalent
- EIT or PE certification preferred but not required.
- 5 years Civil/Geotechnical or Structural experience
- Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, basic CAD)
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are necessary.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
