You will assist General Counsel in representing the Commission with litigation pending before the South Carolina Courts.
You will assist with deposition preparation for internal staff, external witnesses, and experts and track case statuses, prepare summaries of testimony and trial exhibits, and develop case strategy. You may act as lead counsel depending on the complexity of the issues involved.
You will assist with the drafting of single commissioner and appellate panel orders as assigned.
You will represent the Commission as counsel of record in administrative hearings for the assessment of fines and penalties.
You will research, draft, and submit all required Commission filings for administrative hearings and hold docketing and scheduling meetings with internal staff.
