About the Job
Position Title : Staff Accountant
Type : Full Time
Location : Woodland, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Activity Recording - Record and process monthly accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for various corporate accounts,
- Month-End Closing - Assist in the month-end closing process, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow management, and financial report preparation,
- Financial Statement Preparation - Help prepare monthly financial statements and relevant information for the monthly reporting package,
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance,
- 1 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry,
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting,
- Excellent organizational and time management skills,
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or progress towards certification,
- Experience with IFS or similar ERP systems,
- Experience with ERP implementations and integrations,
Salary
90,000 - 95,000 /year
