Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Our client, an Energetic CPA firm in Winchester, Ma is seeking a senior accountant experienced in audit and assurance services within a CPA firm environment. This position will include all duties pursuant to conducting audits, reviews, compilations and completion of financial statement reports. Requisites include ability to prepare workpapers, analyze data, and assess operational effectiveness and accounting compliance. Incumbent may also perform tax work. The candidate should possess CPA status or be successfully on the path to obtaining CPA credentials. Other attributes:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years public accounting experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles, audit practices and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
• Superior time management and multi-tasking skills with strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Quickbooks, accounting systems software

Knowledge of Prosystem Engagement and ProFX Tax software applications is a plus. Salary is competitive and based on experience.
