POSITION SUMMARY As a Staff Accountant at dnata Catering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting operations. You will be responsible for managing the financial activities of multiple entities, supporting month-end closings, and preparing financial statements. Your expertise in accounting principles will be essential in maintaining compliance and facilitating smooth financial operations.

You Will:- Support the timely and accurate month-end closing process and preparation of monthly and annual audited financial statements.
- Take sole responsibility for closing the books for three smaller entities.
- Submit monthly Profit & Loss statements and supporting documentation to Joint Venture Partners.
- Manage prepaid expenses and insurance accounts.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts.
- Support financial statement audits, prepare schedules, and compile necessary support for audit selections and related activities.
- Record financial transactions and maintain bank reconciliations, as well as balance sheet reconciliations, including payroll and benefit liabilities.
- Manage and reconcile expense claims through Certify and credit card accounts.
- Maintain business registrations in applicable states.
- Report and reconcile port fees and sales taxes.

This salary range and is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, we take into account various factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience as part of the overall compensation package. $63,000.00 - $90,000.00
You Have:EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS is a plus
- Experience in overseeing daily operations of an accounting department.
- Background in manufacturing, airline services, or food processing industries is a plus.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Intellectual/Social demands:

Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Work environment:
