Staff Accountant at KBW Financial

A manufacturing company located in the Waterbury, CT area is actively seeking a Staff Accountant for an immediate opening. The Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities. The Staff Accountant will perform the following:

Responsibilities:

• Journal entries
• Reconciliations
• Financial report analysis
• Sales and use tax 
• 1099 preparation
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Process customer payments
• Intercompany invoicing

• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Compensation Package: Up to $80,000 depending on experience
