About the Job
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, investment accounts, and other balance sheet accounts
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budget
- Grant Management: Track and report on grant expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and funding requirements
- Audit Support: Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation, and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Expense Management: Review and process expense reports, invoices, and payment requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Other Duties: Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Director of Finance
Requirements:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
