REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day‐to‐day accounting operations of the company. The position will assist the Accounts Payable Team with timely and accurate information reporting including but not limited to invoice approval and payment process and subcontractors' management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Project Management Team and other Department Heads for invoices' approval
- Review and post AP invoices with appropriate coding
- Gather all backup for AP payment selection
- Perform weekly check run
- Process credit card expense reporting and EFT payment
- Perform trouble shooting as necessary to resolve issues with invoices or vendors' payment
- Help team members with other adhoc requests
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in finance, accounting, or relevant field
- With 1-2 years of recent relevant experience. Newly accounting graduate is encouraged to apply
- Attention to detail is a must
- Experience in A/P, and month-end close process
- 'Can do' attitude to accomplish goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient with computer software, and MS Office specifically Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in accounting for construction is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software including Vista, Sage, Quickbooks, SAP is highly desirable.
Physical Demands
Sedentary
Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and files. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Limited
General office environment infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000
