Staff Accountant - HEICO Corporation

Conxall, located in Villa Park, Illinois, is a manufacturer of custom designed connectors and cable assemblies. We supply highly engineered harsh environment cable assembly products to the industrial, agricultural, lighting, safety, outdoor recreation, and medical industries.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This individual will supervise one employee at Conxall and report into the Controller at Switchcraft, our sister company in Chicago.

This is an On-Site position - Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm.

$55,000 annual

Responsibilities & Duties:

* Provide account coding for material request orders and invoices
* Review 3-way match for purchase invoices payment
* Post AP vouchers
* Resolve issue between accounting and suppliers
* Respond to vendor inquiries, research and resolve discrepancies
* Prepare ACH/Wire batches, prioritize payments and assemble support documents
* Month-end journal entry preparation and review
* Month-end variance analysis as needed
* Reconciles selective balance sheet accounts at least monthly
* Maintain files and documentation as appropriate
* Complete and distribute forms 1096 and 1099 annually
* Provide oversite and guidance for AP Clerk/Receptionist
* Any other matters significant to the finance department

* Good knowledge of GAAP principles
* Associates or BS in Accounting or Finance
* 2-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
* Good work ethic
* Strong PC skills, especially with Excel
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (business central), MS NAV or equivalent Financial/Manufacturing Software.
* Knowledge of sales and use tax requirements a plus
