Staff Accountant - Creative Financial Staffing

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Reconcile various accounts for Sheppard Pratt and affiliated organizations.
• Record and maintain receipts and disbursements logs as required.
• Prepare, enter, and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial data.
• Support the accounting team in managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
• Track and report on miscellaneous billings.
• Gather and provide audit documentation and support when necessary.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1-2 years of finance or accounting experience, plus 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial theory.
• Proficiency with computerized accounting and general ledger systems.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting and compliance reporting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve issues in clearing accounts and reconcile balances.
• Strong ability to interpret and synthesize financial data from various sources.
