Staff Accountant (Temp to Hire) - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

About the Job
Accountabilities: Essential Functions -
- Accounts Payable: Process payments (checks, electronic bill-pay, ACH, wire transfers) and verify documents.
- Employee Reimbursements: Prepare reimbursements and provide bi-weekly reports to payroll.
- Check Deposits: Process remote deposits, send to the bank, and record in the general ledger.
- Cash Receipts & AR: Record receipts and accounts receivable; manage supporting documentation.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and record entries for daily, monthly, and year-end activities.
- Entry Review: Verify journal entries by staff and record in the general ledger.
- Fixed Assets: Add, track, calculate depreciation, and reconcile assets to the general ledger.
- Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly reconciliations and record adjustments.
- Account Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, construction-in-progress, and schedules.
- Month-End Closing: Complete closing procedures on time.
- Budget Entry: Enter the annual budget into the general ledger.
- Starting Hourly $32/hr. $35/hr.
