Staff Accountant - City Wide Facility Solutions

Objective

The Staff Accountant reports directly to the CFO and assists in supporting the execution of timely financial reporting, management of budgeting, and analyzing data to support business decisions.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and publish month-end financial reporting.
• Prepare accurate and complete bank reconciliations.
• Review and analyze financial statements to provide variance commentary.
• Assure compliance with laws and regulations and assist in audits or compliance reviews.
• Prepare Financial Reporting deck and other financial analysis related to gross margin or as needed for executives.
• Full ownership of supply processing and assist in other bookkeeping tasks as needed throughout the month.
• Manage Accounts Payable process and ensure company remains within budget thresholds while analyzing cash flow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent work experience).

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Business Central, QuickBooks, Great Plains, etc).
• Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with clients, service providers and co-workers.
• Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
• Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
• Ability to demonstrate very effective organizational skills including time management, prioritization, follow through and delegation.
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
