Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing monthly financial reports, ensuring they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Performing account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them swiftly.
3. Managing accounts payable, ensuring all payments are made on time and are accurately recorded.
4. Assisting in cost accounting, analyzing production costs, and recommending strategies to reduce costs.
5. Participating in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and reporting any variances.
6. Assisting with internal and external audits, providing all necessary information and supporting documentation.
7. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in reporting, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and cost accounting.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and useful information to management.
5. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors and discrepancies.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
9. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
