Staff Accountant

A Staff Accountant is a key member of a bank's finance department. Staff Accountants ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and help drive informed business decisions.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with an emphasis on accounting/finance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing budget, managerial, and ad hoc reports
  
  
• In-depth daily, monthly, and as-needed analysis of select internal accounts

• Manage the accounts payable process

• Process corporate credit card accounts
  
  
• Maintain vendor W9 files
  
  
• Process 1099 Tax Forms

• Process invoices into accounts payable software

• Prepare disbursements
  
  
• Maintain accounts payable files
