We are now looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial efficiency and accuracy.
As a Staff Accountant you will play a crucial role in managing and reporting the company's finances. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting our financial decision-making processes.
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and that bills are paid properly and on time.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment.
Maintain tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Modify, update and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Import data from a variety of sources to our accounting system and streamline these processes for best practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or related work experience
Proven experience as a staff accountant, or relevant role in accounting/finance.
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
Excellent understanding of Excel, data management and QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Willing to make mistakes, to learn from them and move forward.
A willingness to review processes and make them better.
