Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent position in our manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting duties including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions. This role requires a high level of precision, a strong understanding of financial principles, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions as well as resolving discrepancies.
Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of 1 years of proven experience in a similar role.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and accounting software packages.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze figures.
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
