Our client, a highly esteemed investment and real estate management company, has partnered with CFS to fulfill a Staff Accountant opportunity with a highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented accountant who is excited about the industry. Career-oriented and eager to develop relationships both internally and externally. Candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Job Responsibilities

• General ledger entries and trial balance management
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Fixed Assets reporting; schedules and depreciations
• Prepares month end closing documents; year-end closing statements; and work with outside auditors as needed.
• Financial Statements - supporting and preparation
• Property level month-end financial includes: income statement, balance sheets, A/R, Rent Roll, Bank Recs
• Ad-hoc reports, including A/R aging, depreciation schedules, debt compliance, loan reporting
• Create and send invoices, maintain record of receivable aging and work on accounts receivable collections

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of accounting minimum
• Solid General Ledger Accounting
• Real Estate Accounting a plus, not required
• Strong Excel Knowledge
