Vaco is hiring for a Staff Accountant opportunity in Salt Lake City UT. This is a direct hire role that is fully onsite.

Job Description:

· Supervise the accounts payable, journal entry and reconciliation processes.

· Assists in the resolution of AP related banking issues.

· Provide expense training and assistance to college employees

· Assist in the capitalization, tracking and disposal of assets

· Supervise and train student employees.

· Assist in managing the College’s purchasing card program.

Job Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting or finance.

· Two-Three years of general accounting experience

· Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and customer service

Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to analyze financial data

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
