Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 1+ years of experience to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and practical experience with Reconcile, A/R, ERP systems, Fixed Asset Accounting, A/P, and GAAP. Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
2. Managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
3. Utilizing ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial reporting.
4. Overseeing fixed asset accounting, including recording acquisition and disposals, calculating depreciation, and maintaining accurate asset records.
5. Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all accounting procedures and reporting.
6. Assisting with budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
7. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
8. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and support company-wide financial goals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Reconcile, A/R, ERP systems, Fixed Asset Accounting, A/P, and GAAP.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines.
7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly desirable.
