Overview
Reyes Fleet Management (RFM) is an essential part of Reyes Holdings. RFM services and maintains the fleet of trucks and equipment for the Reyes Family of Businesses. We are one of the largest fleets in the United States, working within our business unit distribution centers across the nation. We partner with our internal customers in the areas of asset management, safety and compliance, and training. Our goal is to assist in the reduction of cost and risk throughout the Reyes Family of Businesses. In addition to our world-class support, we also manage Reyes Academy – a state-of-the-art training facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia that trains 600+ professional drivers a year as well as transportation and other operations management.
Responsibilities
Reyes Fleet Management is immediatley hiring a Staff Accountant for our team located in Rosemont, IL to assist in our Finance and Accounting department on a variety of accounting tasks.
Shift: Full-Time l 1st Shift 7:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday Hybrid role but must be able to work on site minimum 3 days a week.

Pay Transparency Statement:
The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant is a key contributor to the day-to-day accounting operations of the Reyes Fleet Management structure. The position is intended to provide a broad range of accounting and finance support to the Reyes Fleet Management Operation.
People or Process Management Responsibility: None
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
+ Monthly financial reporting and analysis
+ Month end close for business locations
+ Preparation of weekly and monthly billing reports for fleet maintenance operations
+ Account analysis and reconciliation
+ Maintain fixed asset system on a regular basis
+ Weekly fuel invoicing and reconciliation with related company
+ Assist with the year-end external audit process
+ Assist with the annual budgeting process
+ Assist with special projects and process improvements
+ Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
+ 1-3 years current accounting experience
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
+ Possess a professional demeanor
+ Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company
+ Must possess strong interpersonal and exceptional problem solving skills in addition to being a team player
+ Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
+ Must be able to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
+ Proficiency with Excel
+ Experience with other Microsoft based applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Prior experience with JDEdwards
