Staff Accountant - Applied Research Associates, Inc

• What you’ll do as a Staff Accountant
  • Inventory Management, including cycle counts, analysis of stock status and WIP reports, inventory reconciliation
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Work closely with other members of the AP and AR team to ensure compliance with GAAP and ARA policies
  • Creation and analysis of use fee reports
  • Creation and analysis of weekly labor and sales reports
  • Work with other members of the Admin and Accounting team to create work instructions and training documents
  • Management of assets
  • Monthly journal entries
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and tracking
  • Assist with product billing and collections
• Staff Accountant Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management with 2-4 years' experience; experience with Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
• Staff Accountant Preferences
  • Experience with Costpoint or similar Accounting and Manufacturing software; knowledge of Smartsheet, Power BI
