Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax filings.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation.
Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with clients to gather financial information.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Respond to client inquiries and provide expert guidance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Support the development and implementation of accounting procedures.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA designation or progress towards CPA preferred.
At least 2 years of public accounting experience.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
