We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial operations and play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, performing account reconciliations, managing the general ledger, and handling accounts payable. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to maintain and improve our financial systems.
2. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
4. Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
5. Collaborate with the finance team to review and improve accounting processes.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
7. Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
9. Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely and accurate manner.
10. Participate in financial audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
2. Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
4. Demonstrated experience in account reconciliation and general ledger management.
5. Proven experience handling accounts payable.
6. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
7. Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
12. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
