THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE.
POSITION SUMMARY
To support the Accounting Department in carrying out the goals and responsibilities of accounting by researching and analyzing assigned accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules for multiple entities and states.
- Support fixed asset budgeting and forecasting: analyze fixed asset expenditures and assist with capital planning and reporting.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports for all books.
- Reconcile, research, and resolve discrepancies in assigned balance sheet accounts; create journal entries and update schedules as required.
- Assist in daily treasury management.
- Assist in preparing schedules for tax accountants and external auditors.
- Assist in reconciling yearly property tax filings and reconcile payments.
- Answer accounting and financial questions from internal customers.
- Learn and apply the latest accounting standards and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Ability to research accounting principles, regulations, and technical bulletins.
- Skilled in presenting information and responding to questions from managers, customers, and general public.
- Capable of analyzing large data sets using reporting tools or excel.
- Desire to master excel and other tools: pivot tables, excel tables, power query, macros, sequel, etc.
- MS Excel, Sage fixed assets, prior tax PBC management, audit experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to six years related accounting experience. One or more years managing fixed assets.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver license and a clean DMV report.

COMPENSATION
Wage Range $70,000 to $80,000 Annually
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
