Staff Accountant - Direct Hire

In this role, you will:
- Manage day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial statements and perform variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
You're a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a mid-to-large sized organization
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Previous experience in Central Phoenix or nearby areas
