Our Business Office Deparment in Pasadena is seeking a Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level. In this role, you will contribute to the success of Rusnak Automotive Group by providing key accounting support by providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities
Successfully Maintain and Update General Ledger:
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
- Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
- Generate regular and on-demand reports
- Maintains accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Provides accounting support by converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Efficiently and Effectively Prepare, Execute, and Maintain Key Financial Documentation:
- Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
- Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly.
- Plan and manage workflow and timelines effectively to ensure on-time delivery of department deliverables.
- Maintain information confidential; ensure personal work area is secure; store and distribute personnel, client, and company information according to legal and company guidelines; does not discuss confidential information with anyone except as allowed by law and required for business purposes
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 5 years in position of Staff Accountant or similar positions in automotive, Retail, Sales, Hospitality or Food & Beverage, or Service industries.
- Required: Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Required: Strong Microsoft Skills at proficient level.
- Desired: Certification in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skill.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Bi-lingual in English and other language is an asset in this position)
