Staff Accountant (Part time) - SRC Inc.

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a part-time staff accountant up to 30 hours a week. The selected candidate will provide accounting and analytical support for general accounting, billing, and payable functions. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

What You'll Do

• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and customer invoices
• Supports accounts payable with processing invoices and cash disbursements
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Support annual internal and external audits
• Perform other general accounting activities and complete analytical processes as needed
• Hybrid/fully remote opportunities are available

What You'll Bring

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience: 3+ years of experience
• MBA, CPA or CMA a plus
• Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Position requires excellent communications skills, and a positive, customer service orientation
• Attention to detail a must
• Exposure to Deltek Costpoint is a plus
• Must be U.S. citizen

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $27.00 to $34.00/hour. The hourly rate will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
