Client Overview:
Atrium is partnering with a large restaurant and hospitality company headquartered in Orlando, FL. The client has more than 100 locations throughout the US, and they are continuing to grow and expand their footprint. Currently, they are looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $30/hr
Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will provide accounting support in the areas of general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The Staff Accountant position is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Supporting the month-end close process.
- Preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and providing supporting schedules.
- Reconciling and maintaining credit cards and receivables.
- Assisting with special projects.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- 1 – 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong customer service skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred or equivalent experience.
